Das transdisziplinäre Backslash Festival kehrt für seine mittlerweile sechste Ausgabe vom 24. bis 26. November in die Gessnerallee zurück. Am Freitag, dem ersten Festivalabend, erwartet die Besuchenden eine lange Nacht mit genreübergreifenden Arbeiten zwischen Performance, visueller Kunst, experimenteller Musik sowie nonkonformistischer Rave-Kultur. Der zweite Abend am Samstag ergänzt das Programm mit sorgfältig ausgewählten Performances und Konzerten, die sich einer eher introspektiven Ästhetik zuwenden.

The transdisciplinary Backslash Festival returns to the Gessnerallee for its sixth edition from November 24 to 26. On Friday, the first evening of the festival, visitors can expect a long night of cross-genre works between performance, visual art, experimental music as well as non-conformist rave culture. The second evening on Saturday completes the program with carefully selected performances and concerts that turn to a more introspective aesthetic. For the first time, the hall will be played in its full size, complemented as always by the characteristic spaces in the north wing and Stall 6.

Over 20 artists from Switzerland and abroad will create a wide range of moments somewhere between contemplative introspection and ecstatic raves beyond conventional genre boundaries, spread across three spaces during the festival weekend.
