We are thrilled to launch our first F96 producing workshops – a project that’s been close to our hearts for a long time. FLINTA*-People are massively underrepresented in the music production industry. Let’s try and change that. Ever wondered what goes into creating
those addictive electronic beats? How to create a track from scratch on your computer? Or maybe you’re ready to take your skills to a next level after countless night-long youtube-binging? We got you covered! With three experts in the field, you’ll get all your questions answered and the guidance you need to bring your own tracks to life.
The all-day FLINTA* Production Workshops are designed to be built on one another, but can also be joined individually, according to your own level. The courses will take place at Zentralwäscherei Zürich charging CHF 50.- per course. Also, come and join us on the producing hangouts in between the workshops for free, on Wednesday evenings, 19.03, 26.0 and 02.04 – location to be announced. We’ll provide you a space to practice on your computer alongside fellow classmates or other producers. If you don’t have a laptop/headphones, let us know in advance and we will find a solution. We’re looking forward!
Last but not least, the talented Lua Lungck (@luajungck) has agreed to share her skills in our advanced class on the Sunday, 30th of March. The Zurich-based artist’s practice revolves around two intertwined approaches: solo production and collaborative improvisation. As a solo artist, she focuses on harsh sounds and deconstructed rhythms, capturing the abstraction, loneliness, and brutality of late capitalism in 2024 and shaping it into her own soundtrack. Lungck experiments with algorithms, natural sounds and various digital engines and will thus be ready to open up your production up to new possibilities.
