After a string of sweat-soaked, bass-heavy nights deep in Zurich’s underground – from the legendary Zukunft, to the smokey basements of Kauz and the heaving dancefloors of Hive – Hotbox is now stepping into the daylight. We’re bringing the fire to the open air with Summer Day Ting, an all-day, all-out Drum & Bass and Jungle big payback right in Irchel Park – all for free!

Get ready for sun on your face (hopefully!), bass in your chest, and vibes up to 11 as we take over the lush calm green space just outside of Irchel Bar. But trust, it won’t stay calm for long. From 2pm until 10pm, we’re rolling out with heavy-weight tunes, good people, ice-cold drinks, and that signature
Hotbox energy.

And as always, we’re proud to bring you a seriously stacked lineup:

FD – hailing from the UK, representing The North Quarter, and as Hotbox resident, this one’s no stranger to tearing up the dance. Deep cuts, rolling subs, and liquid soul with grit – FD brings the kind of selection that makes your neck snap and your worries fade. Certified vibes. Joining him, we’ve got our homegrown roster of absolute shellers who always bring the heat and know how to run it right, so get ready for the likes of:

If that wasn’t enough, to make sure every bassline hits you right in the ribcage, and to celebrate soundsystem culture right, we’re powering the dance with the mighty Subsanity Soundsystem – a beautifully custom-built rig, tuned to perfection precisely for Drum & Bass and Jungle pressure. No tinny nonsense here – if you know, you know – if you don’t, get ready! From Zukunft’s closing sets to the sweaty walls of Kauz and the laser haze of Hive, Hotbox has always been about real connection, great vibes, raw energy, and quality music.
