John Moods is a German-Polish songwriter. His work has animpressive creative versatility incredibly vulnerable and melancholicthat also has contains joy and energy reminiscent of a youngSpringsteen.. In a broader sense, John Moods’ intention is to listen tothe heart and liberate it from the desires of wanting or trying to be cool.In his music John Moods works with strong intuitive themes and topicsfor his albums. His fi rst album “The Essential John Moods” focuses onthe theme of birth, his second album “So Sweet So Nice” is dedicatedto the subject of death. John Moods is a strong advocate for deathpositivity, a movement which works towards integrating a truthfulexploration of death into contemporary life. The third album “The GreatDesign” explores the intricate and elegant designs of the natural world.Moods’ upcoming record “Time For Love” will deal with the question of”What is Love?” but with a more wide and open understanding thanmere romantic love.In 2020, two of his songs were featured in the HBO series “HighMaintenance” and one of his songs was used as the credit tracks forthe Hulu series “High Fidelity”. Through this he has come to know andlove Ben Sinclair, one of the creators of “High Maintenance”, whoreguarly invites him to Los Angeles to make music (which has turnedinto a beautiful album) and even offered him an acting role in his newTV venture about a spiritual community, currently titled “SUR”.He is also currently working on a new album recorded in a wonderfulstate-of-the-art studio in Berlin and on a special collaboration with DJ/Producer Young Marco initiated by the Dutch label Music FromMemory.In November 2023 he’ll join Devendra Barnhart on tour across Europe
