LA GALE
Head mistress of the Lausanne punk-rap scene, La Gale is Vitesse Records’ first full blown recording artist. True to her name (la gale does mean scabies, for all of you dermatology fans out there) her lyrics are (a)socially (im)pertinent, (sur)realistic or mean(ingful). The words darkly flow on a wave of rancid, crazy old school electro beats courtesy of Christian Pahud, the man behind acclaimed pioneers Larytta and Honey For Petzi.

Après avoir arpenté les scènes d’Europe – des squats devant des punks aux grands festivals devant des professionnels du rap – pendant près de 3 ans, La Gale est de retour avec un deuxième album «Salem City Rockers». Un disque plus personnel qui dévoile davantage les vraies amours musicales de la MC lausannoise, à savoir d’une part un certain rap français; méchant, malin, vindicatif et nécessaire comme jamais. Et d’autre part un rock sale, sombre, puisant sa hargne à l’aune du blues et de la country, toujours aussi viscéral. «Salem City Rockers» c’est la route, la fête, la morosité et le vent de la révolution qui n’en finit pas de se lever.

BU NASSER TOUFFAR
Bu Nasser Touffar is a Lebanese writer and rapper who raises his voice to break the silence of a marginalized society, which the state has long impoverished and silenced. His songs and writings were used as anthems in the Lebanese popular demonstrations and protests. Bu Nasser’s project began in 2009 with the release of Touffar’s album “The Companions of the Land ”, followed by several solo and collaborations with others who share the hopes, questions, revolution and musical passion of local and international rap performers and music producers. He performed dozens of successful live shows in various Lebanese regions and several sold-out concerts in Turkey and Europe, before returning to Beirut in April 2023 for his first concert in five years. Bu Nasser has independently published two novels “Al-Harayek” in 2016 and “Al Qushnood” in 2018.

Malekah (Badneez): with a wide range of arab influenced ambient/classic music to high energy, dancy vibes, Malekah, part of the legendary duo Badneez serves the right music for the right moment.

Phrex (Midilux, Klubtopia): a genre-bending multitalent and long-term resident at the venue right at the Bollwerk corner. With multiple aliases on the road, Phrex has residencies in Switzerland and abroad, played loads of reowned festival gigs and is touring all arround Switzerland. He serves music between techno, bass, dub – what connects the dots: a heavy bass line!
