At the end of the 1990’s, Martinesque started his career as a regular party youngster enjoying the pulsating be- ats of the electronic world. He soon forged friendships within Basel‘s club scene, discovered his talent and joy spinning the wheels himself and picked up music pro- duction shortly after. Two decades later, he’s not only developed into a well-respected DJ and production partner, but also spearheads his own label, Miniload Records, and holds a monthly residency at Basel’s nightlife hotspot Elysia, showcasing his love for low-slung, reduced house and techno music. A workaholic fully immersed in club culture, Martinesque further applies his curating touch to Elysia’s diverse musical programme, displaying maturity and taste only few can match.
