Line-Up: Clara Badu, YAK, Nonlinear DJs

To start off, we welcome Berlin-based Swiss-born artist, Version label and Hard Wax staff member, Clara Badu. Clara has been exploring sound’s materiality in its lower end, experimenting with bass, rhythmic noise and related sonic forms while focusing on their impact on the dance floor.
She has been orienting her studies at the Berlin University of the Arts towards the research of sound’s underlying potential to bring hidden dimensions of perception to new states of awareness.

Then there is Sheffield-based artist Yak, AKA John Randall, who explores rhythmic cuts and works up irresistible dance floor tension. Having already released twice on the Berlin based label Version, he expanded his fast growing catalogue with a jaggy broken techno release on the prominent London based Label R & S Records this year.
His groovy, off-kilter percussion explorations will keep you dancing for sure.
