A (live) dedication to synthesizers

In the context of the exhibition of synthesizers from the collection of the Swiss Museum for Electronic Music Instruments (SMEM) at Kunstraum Walcheturm, Red Bull Music Festival Zurich offers a series of live performances based around these magical music-making instruments.

Leftfield electronic virtuoso and Melodies International co-founder Floating Points will present the Swiss premiere of his new show based on his latest album Crush, released October 18th on Ninja Tune. Additionally, Austrian keyboard genius and Flying Lotus affiliate Dorian Concept will display his ingenious talents, and Swiss genre-benders Xzavier Stone and Modulaw will play live together for the first time ever.

On both Friday and Saturday, Kunstraum Walcheturm also hosts synthesizer workshops by Swiss experimentalist Feldermelder and Dorian Concept, as well as a talk with the activists behind the Street Parade.”
