ZW-Fourever – Tuesday
18. November 2025 · ab 19:30
On Tuesday, we dream together as we start off the week with the most beautiful sonic experience we could have wished.
Casanora
Casanora’s music can be described as a mixture of soft, melodious sounds and profound, often emotional lyrics. Their music is in the indie pop and alternative genres, with a touch of electronic and experimental elements. The sound is atmospheric and inviting, often infusing a certain melancholy and introspective mood into her songs. Her music often addresses topics such as relationships, self-reflection and life, but in a very soulful and creative way.
James K
A version of james K was born. Comprised of bones, reactive metals and a larynx with freckled eyes that catalyzes that mix, she can now see through all the schemes. This is the truth. When she chews gum, it’s not clear which one of her personas does it. Since their first release in 2013, describing them separately is grunt work as they switch places, cosplay each other and would most likely lull you into a lonesome dream. Together, they know how to produce, sound, film and edit. Thus, they are brought to the table, performing and DJing in clubs and theaters, along composers and children alike. She has performed in festivals and venues such as Dekmantel, Sustain Release, Mutek, iii Points, and Nowadays.. In recent years she has shared the stage with James Ferraro, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, Yves Tumor, Morton Subotnick, Nick Leon, and Priori, among many others. Sometimes you can’t hear the words……since anything beyond everything she wants to give you a hint……it’s not pretty (but it’s pretty). Take a sip of water before your memory error blinks. Dial to K. Listen to the disfragmented territory and the cast of it she’s making. It might not be what you will have thought tomorrow.
About ZW-Fourever Festival
ZW-Fourever is our fourth anniversary. ZW officially opened in 2021, celebrating this occasion every year at the same time. The festival runs from Tuesday to Sunday and each day is composed differently, reflecting ZW’s broad cultural interest and vision.
editorial
All good things come in four, we say in Swiss German. Or something like that, whatever. We feel like it is good at the moment. And it will be fourever. What‘s to come and what to foursee is difficult, but we know now it will be something. You showed us that once again!
Zurich wants a place not fuelled by corporate logic, monetary interests, and inhumane business plans. We don’t want to divide and conquer; we want to get together and get lost. Zurich can be a cold and harsh city, like we once said, but it is also full of life, plenty of curious, funny, and loving people looking for alternatives to the narrative of cleanliness and performance. Google what, Google where, we say! We want to drink up the last drops of Zwinglianism and dance on the shattered remains of Zurich’s neoliberal walls, spaces to the people and culture however we want it, four you four me four us four now and four ever!
