Lehar & Undercatt @ Cafe Singer

Hi Guys, it’s nice to have you soon here! How are you?

Lehar: Hi and thanks for this interview. I’m very good and ready for this Swiss weekend, Friday Cafe Singer and on Saturday/Sunday the 10 Years Diynamic in Zurich 🙂

Undercatt: Very good, thanks! Coming back from an intense week between Ibiza and Amsterdam and working now to finish some stuff in our studio.

Could you tell us something about you guys? Where are you from, how did you get in to DJing and producing?

Lehar: I was born in Naples, but for more than 20 years I live in Venice now. I discovered the nightlife after turning 18. Before that it was impossible for me to go out during the night as my parents were very strict when it comes to going out. When I started getting to know the nightlife of Venice (Il Muretto, Area city, Matilda) I enjoyed what the DJs were doing so much, that I started buying records to listen to the music I was listening to in the clubs, and then the passion evolved 😉

Undercatt: We are from Pisa, Italy. We’ve known each other for a very long time, we are close friends. We can say we have a passion for electronic music since we were very young. It has been a long path with many obstacles, but now that we are professionals and we have the chance to visit so many places and countries every week it’s a like a dream come true.

Is it your first gig in basel? Do you have plans to see or do something here?

Lehar: This is the second time I will play in Basel and in Cafe Singer. Last time I came around 8 months ago, I met a few new people and since then we stayed in touch, so I’m happy to see them again. I also have a friend from Basel called Patrick, who is a very talented producer, who I’m looking forward to seeing again.

Undercatt: Yes, it’s absolutely our first time ever. We’ve heard it’s a very beautiful city, as some friends live over there. We won’t have so much free time, but we hope to hang out with them and discover something cool around.

On what we can look forward on Saturday at cafe singer?

Lehar: I expect to see so many people ready to have a great night 🙂

Undercatt: Good energies and good vibes 🙂 We are happy to perform there with our label mate and friend Lehar and we’re sure it will be a great night!
