Dein ‘Best-Buy’ in den vergangenen Monaten in Sachen Sound?
The Yuzer (DJ Plead Remix) – Dauwd (Psssh Records)
Diesen Track habe ich erst wenige Stunden vor meinem Auftritt bei der Afterpride-Party im Exil am vergangenen Wochenende entdeckt. Er klingt großartig auf deren Soundsystem! Ich habe ihn in die Playlist aufgenommen.
Dein ‘Best-Buy’ in den vergangenen Monaten in Sachen Gear?
Neue Monitoren und ein Plattenspieler.
Grosser Club oder kleine Spielwiese?
Wenn es dunkel, neblig und schweisstreibend ist, dann mag ich es.
Deine Inspirationsquelle ist?
Musik. Da ist alles drin, alle Antworten, Ideen und Fragen. Musik inspiriert mich, Musik zu machen – so einfach ist das!
In Deinen Werken/Sets geht es um?
Im Moment schwebe ich irgendwo zwischen positiven, aufmunternden, sexy und süßen Melodien und vielen perkussiven, trippigen Klängen, die ich gerne als 3D-Soundscapes bezeichne. Da ich eigentlich ein klassischer Musiker bin, denke ich in langfristigen und langen Phrasierungen in der Musik. Jedes Set erzählt eine andere Geschichte. Manchmal geht es nur um einen bestimmten Moment auf dem Dancefloor. Die Geschichte entwickelt sich so wie die Tänzer:innen, wie ich, wie wir sind. Die Erzählung wird in diesem Moment geformt, die Geschichte wird geschrieben und verschwindet nur eine Sekunde nach der Reise.
‘Reach to the stars’ – wo bist Du in 5 Jahren?
Ich bin hier, schwimme in der Badi am Zürichsee und bereite mich auf ein weiteres wunderschönes Wochenende vor, um mit den Menschen die Musik zu teilen, die ich liebe – mich mit ihnen zu vereinen und mich in dieser unendlichen Clubbing-Experience zu bewegen. Ich mache mir keine Sorgen um die Zukunft. Ich glaube, dass schöne Dinge kommen werden, wenn wir uns erlauben, sie zu sehen.
Eine Frage, die Dich als Artist gerade bewegt?
Nun, was mich als queer Artist beschäftigt, ist meine tägliche Manifestation einer besseren Zukunft, dass Träume wahr werden und mehr Vielfalt in den Besetzungen Einzug hält – sei es in Booking-Teams, Club-Büros oder bei den Tänzer:innen. Ich bin ein Optimist und glaube wirklich, dass wir das schaffen können. Gemeinsam sind wir viel lustiger, bunter und stärker. Wir können so viel voneinander lernen und uns durch die Musik verbinden. Das ist mein Ziel und ich werde nicht aufgeben, diese Momente zu visualisieren.

Definitely this track I just discovered few hours before my gig at Afterpride Party at Exil last weekend. It sounds great on their sound system! I included it in the playlist.
Your ‘best buy’ in the past months (Gear)?
New monitors and a Vinyl-player.
Big club or intimate playground?
If it’s dark, foggy and sweaty, I’ll like it.
Your source of inspiration is?
Music. Everything is inside there, all the answers, ideas and questions. Music inspires me to do music, simple as that!
Your work is about?
At this very moment, I am levitating somewhere between positive, uplifting, sexy n cute tunes and plenty of percussive, trippy tunes I like to call 3D-soundscapes. As my background is actually as a classical musician, I think in long-term and long phrasings in music. Every set is telling a different story. Sometimes it is only about that particular moment on the dancefloor. The story is evolving as the dancers are, as I am, as we are. The narrative is being shaped in that moment, the story is being written and vanished just a second after the journey.
‘Reach to the stars’ – where will you be in five years?
Here again, swimming in the ‘Badi’ at Zurich lake and getting ready to have another beautiful weekend and share the music I love with people, unite with them and move in that infinite togetherness during the clubbing experience. I have no worries about the future. I believe that beautiful things are about to come, only if we allow ourselves to see them.
A question that is on your mind as an artist right now?
Well, what occupies me as a queer artist is my daily manifestation about the brighter future, that dreams will come true and more diversity will be spread thru lineups, booking teams, club offices and dancers. I am an optimist and really believe that we can do that. Together we are way more fun, colorful and stronger. We can learn so much from each other and connect thru the music. I aim for that and I am not planning to give up visualizing these moments.
